FVCS Missions Statement
Fresta Valley Christian School is an independent Christian school with the purpose of offering quality education from a Christian perspective. Our material attempts to show the Lord’s place in every subject taught. We have no church sponsorship nor are we affiliated with any denomination. We do not promote minor issues which tend to divide the body of believers.
Fresta Facts
• School begins the day after Labor Day
• School hours: Monday through Friday – 8:15 a.m. – 3:05 p.m.
• Our school was founded in 1977
• Qualified and experienced teachers
• Godly teachers who strive to translate the excitement of serving our Lord to your child
• A student enrollment of approximately 220 students
• Grades span from preschool (3 and 4 years old) through twelfth grade
• An optimum class size of no more than 25 students
• Primary core subject use of A Beka and Bob Jones Press curricula
• Solid foundation in basic learning skills – lower elementary emphasis in phonics
• Spanish program for Preschool through 6th grades
• Foreign language classes in Spanish and Rosetta Stone French and German
• Computer Applications Courses in state-of-the-art computer laboratory
• Elementary computer courses for third through sixth grades
• Daily chapel services through sixth grade
• Weekly chapel services for the Jr./Sr. High school students
• Piano lessons available during school hours (for an additional fee)
• Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced orchestra for students in third through twelfth grades
• Interscholastic sports program for students in sixth through twelfth grades (baseball, basketball, cross-country, soccer and volleyball)
• Additional extra-curricular activity opportunities for students in seventh through twelfth grades:
- Drama
- Bible Quiz
- Robotics
- Competitive Speech and Debate
