About Us

Fresta Valley Christian School is an independent Christian school with the purpose of offering quality education from a Christian perspective. Our material attempts to show the Lord’s place in every subject taught. We have no church sponsorship, nor are we affiliated with any denomination.

Fresta Valley Christian School was founded in 1977 in response to the need for a Christian School in our own community. We offer classes for all children beginning with Junior Kindergarten (three and four year olds) through 12th grade. Enrollment is open to all qualified students who would benefit from our programs, regardless of race, national origin or ethnic group.

Fresta Valley Christian School is well known for its academic excellence. The curriculum is traditional, as well as college preparatory, using A BEKA, Bob Jones University Press, and a few other select publishers.

The children at Fresta Valley work in a quiet, disciplined atmosphere. Teachers are chosen on the basis of education, experience, character, dedication, and commitment to the principles of the school.

Our school campus is located on 25 acres of rolling countryside mid-way between Warrenton and Marshall on Wilson Road (Route 738). Classes are held in modern, well-kept facilities.

We consider Fresta Valley Christian School to be an extension of the home. Our goals are:

Spiritual: Recognizing that God’s Word is the foundation for all of life, Fresta Valley seeks to lead children into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Daily Bible study and emphasis on practical Christian living provide a strong spiritual framework.

Academic: Fresta Valley strives for academic excellence. Recent standardized achievement tests show Christian Schools well above national norms in all academic areas.

Emotional: Dedicated teachers, who are interested in the needs of their students, help the child grow with a sense of security and worth. The stability provided by the spiritual emphasis helps students maturely meet the challenges of learning and living.

Social: How students relate to each other and to their parents and teachers is an important emphasis at Fresta Valley. Christian ethics not only encourage personal spiritual growth, but wholesome social growth as well.

Physical: Fresta Valley monitors and seeks to understand the physical needs of each child. We work with parents to help the child mature: to be healthy, strong and vitally alive.

Students at Fresta Valley are administered Standardized Achievement Tests. Results of these tests are provided to the parents. Our students consistently rank in the high categories, often testing one or more years ahead of their public school counterparts.
