About Us Choir
9th-12th grade Choir: The purpose of the Senior High Choir is to glorify God through the gift of song. To reach this goal, we strive to sing with professional discipline, exciting musical expression, and clear communication - especially when communicating Biblical truth. Students meet for rehearsal three times per week. They are taught the basics of singing, such as sight reading, aural skills, music theory, and singing in parts. Repertoire consists of classical, sacred and contemporary selections. Scheduled performances include the Christmas Concert and the Spring Concert. Throughout the year, additional opportunities are available for outreach ministry, such as singing in nursing homes, churches, and community centers.
