All classes will have opportunities to minister to others. Elementary classes will visit nursing homes where they will share their Bible verses, poems, songs and art projects with the residents. The Jr. & Sr. High will minister to the elderly as well as the homeless in Washington D.C.
Students will have the opportunity to pray for specific missionaries and may enjoy sending them items that are a necessity for them in the country where they are ministering.
Annual opportunities for reaching out to others include: filling shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, food drives for the holidays, gathering clothes and toiletries for the homeless, etc.
As we show the Love of Jesus to those we come in contact with we fulfill what Jesus called the “Great Commission.”
